women innit

I finally started painting again after a long period of longing to paint and not having space or time. I am beginning this new series of paintings with a portrait of Bina Znamirowski.
Since I painted the portrait of Yukihiro Takahashi back in January I have been really inspired to stick with the same technique and create a show in the same style. The next series will be portraits of people with unpronouncable names or maybe just portraits of women. I realized during my last show that I was paying a lot of attention to guys....(?)
As to when and where this show will be I have absolutely no clue. I'm still working on the painting of Bina and really it takes a long time to get the painting exactly as I want it. It's probably going to speed up as I get to grips with these techniques again but right now I'm like looking at a 2010 deadline...
